Job Description

Fisher Build are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team on a short-term commercial fit-out project in Barnsley. The role involves first and second fix electrical works, wiring, and installation of lighting and containment systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second fix installations
• Install cable trays, trunking, conduit, and containment
• Wiring of lighting and power systems
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Ensure all work meets current electrical regulations and site standards
• Work safely and efficiently to meet tight deadlines

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
• Valid ECS/JIB Gold Card
• Experience in commercial fit-out projects essential
• Own tools and PPE
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Duration

2–3 weeks, with potential for further work

Rate

Competitive, depending on experience (CIS or LTD payment options available)
